It is so funny how much they want to do what ever the other is doing. I started potty training my daughter a few days ago. She does pretty good a few accidents here and there but other than that she does good. I was going to start with my son after he got his cast off so he couldn’t accidently pee on it. Well, they are both day time potty trained. If she was going to do it he had too. That just seemed way to easy!

Good news and Bad News

Bad news, another “man” That can be a total jerk. I move accross the country for a better life with this person, then he shows his true colors! H egot pissed off at me because of a comment my daughter made. Then because I didn’t want to talk about it when he did he turned mine and the kids cell phones off. Then me and my daughter were supposed to fly to Va in June and he cancelled the plane tickets. Then he turned the internet off knowing that my son had school work to do on the computer.

So to the good news, I’m going back home in 2 weeks! I can’t wait. My oldest kids went to see their dad until the 17th, then the youngest boy gets his cast off on the 21st. The 23rd 2 of the kids will fly home then me and the other 2 will leave either the 23rd or 24th. I can’t wait.

Why is it that the twins dad doesn’t want anything to do with them until I move to a different state? Now he wants to threaten to take me back to court for custody of my kids. It was ok when he moved out of state but it was wrong for me to move. he has 4 kids total, the first one was put inthe foster system and adopted because the mom got tired of him at the mall as an infant and put him in her trunk, the second one he got custody of because the mom went to jail then when me and him split up he gave custody of her to his sister, now he wants to try to get my twins. YEAH RIGHT!!! I also have reason to beleive, not really sure why I have the gut feeling, that the girl he is currently living with is the same one he had his first kid with. I swear he is just like my ex husband!

When I did live in the same stae with him I was lucky if he took the kids twice in the same month. When he moved back from Tennessee I drove them to a mall by his house, 30 minutes out of my way, just so he could see them and after 30 minutes he said he had to go. The next time he picked them up for a day he got them about 11 and was going to keep them until 4:15 but called me a little after 3 to pick them up because he had a toothache. The next time he was going to keep the over night, he calls me about 9 because he couldn’t get them to sleep. I told him if he couldn’t handle them I would come get them so he called me back about 10 minutes later to go pick them up. The only other time he saw them after he came back from Tennessee was Christmas Eve because I took them to his house to open presents. After telling me I don’t have money for child support, he spent atleast $500 on presents. Half of them are at his house so they really haven’t even seen them since they opened them. The other half is stuff that is in the toy box and only comes out when they dump everything out of the toybox.

Latest Changes

I haven’t written in a while but I need to start getting more into it. I have recently moved from Virginia to Oklahoma! What a change. The trip out here though went a whole lot better than I thought it would. In my car I had one of the 2 year old twins, my 14 year old daughter, my dog (which is a St Bernard/lab mix), and myself. My boyfriend had the other 2 year old, my 13 year old son, his little dog, and him. The 2 in my car slept the majority of the time. The only thing that was a pain was it was a LONG drive. We left about 2 Saturday afternoon got a hotel about 10 or 11, Sunday we left about 9 or 10 in the morning and me and my daughter stopped about 10, then Monday we left about 8 or 9 in the morning and finally got here about 5:30 or 6.

We have been here for about 3 weeks. The second week we got out here my youngest fell and broke his leg at the park. Other than that things have been good.

Time flies

It is amazing how fast time goes by. The twins turned two in August and it seems like now they are doing everything. The two oldest started school the begining of September. We are homeschooling this year. So far all is going well. Their dad found out the other day I was homeschooling them both. He is a jackass. He is ok with me homeschooling my daughter but does not want my son homeschooled. He has not seen them since spring break of 2004 and I don’t think he has talked to my son since then and the only time he talks to my daughter is if she calls him so I don’t care what he thinks about me homeschooling! The school my son would go to is not a very good school from what I have heard from others. I refuse to send him to a school that I have already been warned about. It drives me crazy that he is ok with me homeschooling one but not the other.

Today the twins are officially 2! I am taking them in a little while to get pictures done. I will try to post them later tonight or tomorrow. Their party last weekend went good, we cooked out and had family and friends over.

Moving

I am currently trying to move. In between working to jobs and taking care of 4 kids. Hopefully i will get some help this weekend. It is hectic. At least I only have about 2 more weeks then I will only be working one job. O well I will post more on this later.

I am back to thinking men drive me crazy! For 3 days I call my ex to see why he didn’t send the child support he said he was to get no answer. So finally my son leaves him a message saying he wanted some money for new shoes, then I get a response. He tells me I am being immature for having my son call him. Who cares, he wasn’t answering my phone call. Well he tells me he couldn’t send it because his new daughter was in the hospital all weekend (which is the same excuse he gave for not sending it last week). Amazing she spends all her weekends in the hospital. This is the same one that wants me to drop the $3000 in back support that he owes “because it is messing up his crddit”. O well, pay it and it won’t be negative against your credit!

Now for the other dad, he was supposed to pay alittle every other Friday (which would be this Friday) but he can’t this time because he has other stuff to pay. What do they think that they are the only ones with bills? He is about $600 behind, but still, he is only ordered to pay $75 every 2 weeks, hell that doesn’t even cover 1 week of babysitting. Oh and I didn’t mention, this is for the twins that will be 2 the 18th of this month. Oh well, enough complaining for now.

ex relationships

Ok I have talked about my kids now to their fathers. The oldest to I married my jr high sweetheart at 18 then 7 years later he decided he didn’t want a commited relationship. Oh well his loss not mine. Now he is in Texas were the girl he left with has family but she has left him for someone else. He doesn’t talk to the kids most of the time. He talks to my daughter if she calls him but my son doesn’t bother to call. As sad as it is he will referto him as his sister’s dad not his. After him and I split up I met the twins dad. He should when an Oscar for his acting! When we first got together he was great with my kids. He did all the stuff their dad didn’t and then some. Then we moved in together. How can they change so much when that happens. Well I got pregnant and had my twins with him. He decided his friends were more important than family. He started smoking pot with his friend’s, so I had to cut my losses and run like hell! With 4 kids drugs can’t be a part of my life. Didn’t do it growing up and didn’t need it now. Now he is living in Tennessee and acting just like the ex husband, calls once in a blue moon but doesn’t see them. How can some guys be great and others just think they can do whatever and not take responsibility for anything?

I will start off with the good stuff! My oldest daughter is 14 and my heart and soul. She is the best daughter a mom could have, other than the ocassional attitude. Being a single parent sometimes I know I couldn’t make it without her. She just got her work permit and wants to get a job. She is so frustrated because there are only a few companies that will hire her because of her age. Her hobbies are hanging out with friends, playing volleyball, and volunteering where ever she can. She has volunteered in the past at the Va Beach Public Library, The Rec center, the SPCA, and Blue Bird Gap Farm in Hampton. She is great with school, just not in public school. She went to knidergarten in private school, 1st grade in public, 2nd was homeschooled, 3rd was part public then home again, 4th was home, she skipped 5th, 6th, 7th, and part of 8th were public and now she is getting ready to start 9th at home again.

Now my oldest son, I have to say typical boy! Would rather be outside palying than in the house. He is 12 and loves to rollerblade, skateboard, and anything else outside! He is doing better in school now that they have figured out he has dyslexia. This year in school he got the help he needed and did great. He is also a volleyball player, but would rather be jumping ramps on his blade or his bike. He is in public school right now, but we will see how his first year in jr high goes then I will decide if he needs to be homeschooled again or not.

And finally, the last two are twins that will be 2 in August. 1 boy, one girl. They are my parents payback. You know the one where your parents tell you they hope you have a child just like you, well I got 2!! Not always a good thing. If you go to the bathroom without them in sight they will find something to get into. They have empyied the pantry, gotten their sisters makeup, colored themselves with marker, you name it they have probably at least attempted it. And they are so good at helping each other get into trouble, not that either of them need help. My sons favorites are Elmo, monster trucks, watching Rachel Ray on the food network, and Dale Jr racing. My daughter’s favorites are Dora the Explorer and bull riding. She is my little bully and he is usually my easy going one, but lately he has been the one to be the one to start the fussing and fighting. Well enough about the kids for now.
